Hassan: Darshan at the famous Hasanamba temple will end today. The temple door will be shut on Friday for the next one year, after special pujas and rituals.
According to the Hassan district administration authorities, the temple door was opened on November 1 and darshan was started on November 2.
“Tens of thousands of devotees from across South India, including former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, took the darshan of the deity all these days,” informed authorities.
“As part of the festival, several events were organised at the temple, including the car festival,” they said.
“As per tradition, on Friday, after Mahapuja, the temple doors will be closed,” they added.
