Hassan/Bengaluru: The state government has transferred Hassan Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri and many other IAS officers in a rejig just ahead of the state Assembly elections.
It may be recalled that earlier just before the Shravanabelagola Bahubali Mahamasthakabhisheka, the state government had ordered the transfer of Rohini Sindhuri, who is known for her sincere work upon being pressurised by the District-in-Charge Minister Manju. However the Election Commission had passed a stay order on the same.
Rohini has been appointed as the Commissioner Employment Training.
Meanwhile, the government appointed Mysuru DC Randeep as new Hassan DC. Shivakumar has been transferred as the Mysuru Deputy Commissioner. Bengaluru City DC Shankar has been transferred and Dayanand will take charge as the new DC.
Shettannavar as Vijayapur DC, Captain Rajendra as Ramanagar DC, Kavery as Chamarajanagar DC and Mamata has been transferred as Youth and Civil Service Commissioner, said the sources.
