Hassan: The Janata Dal (S) Supremo and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda has revealed that he will not be contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha election, here on Wednesday, March 13.
Addressing the media at Mudalahippe village, he said that he would not contest the Lok Sabha elections this time. According to the reports, it is because of ‘family politics’ tag associated with the Gowda family.
Meanwhile, he said, “We have not yet decided on the seat sharing between the Congress-JDS as AICC President Rahul Gandhi is busy in election campaigning. Within three days, once again I will have a meeting to try and find a solution.”
