Hassan: After Hassan Deputy Commissioner (DC) Priyanka Mary Francis took action in the alleged election malpractice case in Holenarasipur, PWD and district in-charge minister H D Revanna, hit out at her calling her a ‘BJP agent’. He also alleged that she was acting based on directions from IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
“I have documents to prove that Sindhuri stayed at the DC’s residence for two days. Did she stay there with the permission of the state or the central election commission? I will bring this to the notice of the state and central governments,” he said.
Denying that no malpractice occurred in any part of the district, Revanna stated that the DC is targeting the officers. “If she remains as DC till the end, there may be malpractice even in the counting. So, the commission must transfer her immediately,” he demanded.
