Hassan: Four doctors, who in the name of ‘Ayurveda’ fooled people with fake medicines, were arrested here on Sunday, March 31.
They were arrested by the Pension Mohalla Police Station.
The four arrested are Basheer from Navalagunda of Dharwad district, Ram, Gangadhar and Venkatesh from Bengaluru.
These four were running a clinic at Vallabhai Road.
The police have seized around 10 bottles of fake ayurvedic medicines and fake receipt book.
District Health Officer Dr. Vijay had filed a complaint with the police that the four accused were operating a clinic and selling fake medicines under the name of Sri Sadvaidya Ayurveda, and were charging double the amount from the patients.
