Hassan: Four persons died on the spot in a horrific bus-car collision on NH 75 of Maranahalli of Sakleshpur town, on Sunday, March 10.
The four are identified as Jagadeesh (40), Gauramma (45), Chennaiah (50) and Bhuvanesh (6). Bhavya (16) and Nagaratna (38) are severely injured.
The deceased and the injured are the residents of Yashwanthpur, Bengaluru.
According to the nearby sources, the car driver was driving the car in a drowsy condition during which it rammed into a KSRTC bus which was travelling towards Hassan from Dharmasthala.
The nearby residents said that due to no mobile network in the accident spot, they could not contact an ambulance or any other emergency vehicle, due to which the four died.
The people have demanded a proper medical care system in the Shiradi Ghat as it is an accident-prone area.
