Hassan: Politics and literature should not be mixed, said former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda at the Kannada Sahitya Sammelan.
Sardar Vallabhai Patel who fought for India should not be politicised by anyone, he added.
Kannada language should be given prominence in all areas. Implementing Kannada Language as the 1st language in schools is important and for that all MP’s should become one and take the initiative to make that happen.
No questions should be raised regarding the speech of Dr. Siddalingaiah, president of the 81st Kannada Sahitya sammelan.
He congratulated the organisers and the people of Hassan district for conducting the event so well in the limited time given for the arrangements.
