Hassan: Hassan Zilla Panchayath (ZP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) has issued suspension orders to three Panchayat Development Officers (PDOs) for dereliction of duty.
PDO of Javagal Gram Panchayat (GP) in Arasikere taluk S C Virupaksha. Akkanahalli GP PDO B V Manjunath and Bekka GP PDO Shivakumar were suspended by the CEO of Hassan ZP K M Janaki.
Akkanahalli GP is under Channarayapatna taluk limits and Shivakumar’s suspension is in the wake of misappropriation of funds during his tenure in this GP.
Misappropriation of funds, dereliction of duty and not meeting the targets set for ZP sponsored schemes are among the charges levelled against the said PDOs by CEO Janaki in the suspension order.
