Hassan: A Border Security Force personnel hailing from Holenarasipura, posted in Punjab died, but mystery shrouds his death.
The deceased is Prasanna Kumar GS (28), son of Shivappa and Gangamma couple.
As per sources, Prasanna had died at Firozpur in Punjab on Monday, but the reason behind his death has not been made clear yet.
Prasanna’s brother G S Lokesh said that the BSF officials had informed about the former’s death on Monday morning at about 7.30 am over phone. They had said that the body has been forwarded for a post mortem.
Prasanna was the oldest of the three siblings and after completing PUC he joined the BSF in 2010. He was a pillar of support for the family.
Meanwhile, the district administration has clarified that they have no details on the death of the soldier as of now.
