Hassan : Irate villagers staged a protest and blocked the road after a bus-bike collision led to the death of two bike riders near Kadedarahalli on Belur road on November 15, Friday afternoon.
Bike riders Paramesh (45) of Kadedarahalli and Ramalingappa (50) of Arasikere lost their lives when a KSRTC bus hit their bike. Villagers who gathered at the spot, placed the bodies on the middle of the road and blocked vehicles on either sides. Long queue of vehicles were seen up to a distance of two kms.
The police who rushed to the spot, persuaded the agitators and took the bodies in an ambulance to the hospital for post mortem. Rural police have registered a case.
