Bengaluru: Three farmers died due to the lightning strike in a remote village in Kalaburgi taluk. It is the 9th death due to lightning strike in the state in this month.
It can be recalled that recently three women died due to the lightning strike in Chikkamagalur.
Anil (26), a resident of Kodli village, Varada Shankar (35), and Kuppanna (65), residents of Buyyara village of Kalaburgi district are the deceased persons.
Another person sustained serious injuries.
Kalaburgi, Bidar and Yadgiri districts are receving good rainfall over the last few days.
This helped the farmers to start farming related works for the upcoming monsoon season.
