Kalaburgi: Opposition leader in Lok Sabha from Congress and MP Mallikarjun Kharge has spoken about the disgruntlement among the Congress leaders regarding the Lok Sabha seat sharing between Congress and Janata Dal (S) coalition of the state, here on Monday, March 18.
Speaking to media personnel at Kalaburgi airport, he said that the Congress party had requested the JDS not to demand the MP seats which are already under the Congress and that the negotiations were still on.
“I have spoken with JDS Supremo H D Deve Gowda about the seat sharing and our party is trying to convince him and Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy. We’ll take a collective decision”, said Kharge.
Tumakuru constituency represented by MP S P Muddahanumegowda of Congress represented, has already been given to JDS.
