Kalburgi: Tension prevailed in Kalburgi town after a group of miscreants stabbed a Muslim youth to death in Misbah Nagar of the city on Sunday, July 23.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Ilyas, resident of MSK mill area of the town.
Relatives of the deceased kept the body near SVP circle in the city and demanded the arrest of those involved in the killing.
Shops downed shutters in the area as the situation remained tense after the incident.
