Kalburgi: Causing a major embarassment to the prison authorities, four jail inmates managed to escape from Kalburgi Central Prison on Wednesday, March 23.
The accused are Shiv Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Tajuddin and Laxman.
The incident has forced the jail authorities to launch a massive manhunt for the inmates.
As per preliminary information, they drilled the barrack wall and then jumped from the compound wall.
Shiv Kumar is facing charges of murder, while the rest are facing rape charges.
