Kalaburgi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley says that there is more currency in the country than we need. Then, where are those notes? asked senior Parliamentarian Mallikharjuna Kharge.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Kharge said, “Administration has come to standstill at the Centre after the BJP came to power. Currency is not available in banks and ATMs. The common man is suffering due to demonetization,” he alleged adding no strategy and magic of Amit Shah is going to work in Karnataka.
“It is sure that the Congress will win more seats than last time and will come to power. We have all tactics ready to stop BJP’s ‘Congress Mukth Bharath’ intention in Karnataka itself,” he expressed hope.
Answering a question, Kharge said that the election has attracted the attention of the country as it is crucial for the future of the nation and to protect spirit of the Constitution.
“Meanwhile, he clarified that CM Siddaramaiah never said that he would contest from Chamundeshwari as well as Badami constituency. So, there is no question of I opposing him. Still, there are many rumors. It is true that those who didn’t get the ticket are disappointed. Hi-command will solve everything”, he said.
Meanwhile, on a question about Afjalpur constituency BJP candidate Malikaiah Guttedar, he said, “I won’t speak about such ‘seniors’. I will better speak about Narendra Modi and Amit Shah”, he said.
