Mangaluru: The fans of MLC Ivan D’Souza offered mass prayers at all the religious centres in city, seeking the blessings of the almighty on the coalition government of Congress and Janata Dal (S), on Monday, July 22.
This mass prayers were held under the leadership of former Corporator Nagendra Kumar, wherein workers of both Congress and JDS participated. They visited Kadri Manjunatheshwara temple, Sharavu Mahaganapati temple, Infant Jesus Chruch in Bikarnakatte and Sayyid Madani Dargah, Ullal and offered prayers for victory in trust vote .
Apart from seeking the blessings of the almighty on the coalition government, they also prayed for the recovery of all patients who have been suffering from the dengue. Later, Nagendra Kumar said that the existing government was doing well and that it would completed its full term of five years.
Former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, corporators Kum Appi, Kavitha Vasu, Keshava Maroli, Prakash Padil among others were present.
