Gadag: In a shocking incident, thieves broke into a house in broad daylight and brutally murdered a lonely elderly woman in Betageri Health Camp here on May 24.
Sources said that Sarojabai Kabadi (76) was alone in the house on the fateful day. Robbers who noticed that there was nobody at the house during day time, broke into he house and ransacked it. The thieves attacked the lady with sharp objects and hacked her to death.
The police are investigating the crime. A case has been registered at the Betageri Police Station.
