A video shared by news agency ANI shows a woman in Karimnagar cooking a nice and fluffy omelet on the floor of her house. The video shows her pouring the egg mixture directly on the ground and then flipping it as it gets cooked by the heat all through.
This video reflects the disturbing situation across the country. The heatwave has already claimed 35 lives in Telangana so far. According to the Met department, this is the hottest April in the last five years, and it is only likely to get worse in the coming months.
