Hailing from Majooru in Kaup, Pruthvi started his career as an RJ in Red FM Mangaluru and became a household name with his morning show.
Son of Virappa and Sujatha, Nagaraj who is popularly known as Pruthvi Amber which is his screen name is a professional dancer, video jockey, martial artiste and also a singer rendering his voice for several songs. His first Tulu movie “Barke” was a blockbuster followed by another hit “Pilibail Yamunakka” which has broken several box office records. A hardcore fan of superstar Kamal Hassan, Amber has produced several short films under his channel “Shutter Box.”
Now Pruthvi who is known for his excellent dance moves and successfull career as Radio Jockey, is all set for the release of his debut Kannada movie “Rajaru” produced under Kiccha Sudeep productions. The latest trailer of his upcoming movie “Rajaru” has received rave reviews. Pruthvi is our guest in our latest NK TV episode and shares his cine journey and his upcoming projects.
He won in the first ever dance reality show “Great Karnataka Dance League” of ETV and was the finalist in popular dance reality show on Suvarna TV “Sye 2.” Before entering movies, Pruthvi has shown his acting skills in three Kannada soaps, namely “Sagara Sangama”, “Radha Kalyana”, “Lava Lavike.” His next projects are ‘Chavadi’ in Kannada, ‘English’ in Tulu.
