Are you fascinated by acting and dream of being on screen or on stage, then this is for you. Astitva has started an exciting project, “Acting classes” in Mangaluru.

Speaking to News Karnataka, the director of Astitva, Christopher NEENASAM said “Acting schools and programs help give aspiring actors the knowledge they need to pursue a career in acting. We have for the first time in Mangaluru are opening an acting studio and acting classes. We are active in theatre for the past 6 years and last year organized a 1000-day acting workshop – Masquerade too.”

Further, “Acting classes will be conducted by “NEENASAM & NSD(National School of Drama) graduates. We conduct one-to-one classes, as well as batch-wise classes, which include a group of 5 members. Classes will be conducted in Kannada, English, Hindi, and Tulu. Batchwise classes will start from May 1. Individual classes will begin from April 15,” he informed.

Expressing the importance of acting classes, he said, “Like all the art forms even acting skills can be learned. Joining acting classes will certainly improve skills such as acting and dancing. It boosts self-expression ability. Individuals became more vocal. Some people are extremely shy, to an extent that they are afraid to display their talent. As a result, classes will assist them in overcoming their shyness and increasing their confidence to perform in front of a huge audience and thereby give their best. It also increases and improves your social experience and is one great way that lets you show your creativity,” he added.
