Prasanna technologies celebrates 12th Anniversary

Mangaluru: Prasanna Technologies Private Limited proudly celebrated their 12th Annual Day on September 11, 2015.
Prasanna Technologies offers a full range of consulting services and specialized Software solutions for Electricity and Water utilities across India, Headquartered in Mangalore, PTPL has branches in Bangalore, Hubli and Mysore with more than 500 employees working across Karnataka.

The Annual Day was well planned by the staff of PTPL and showcased the year’s activities, future plans to the guests and invitees followed by the ceremonial function. The ceremonial function was presided over by Laxman Shetty – Chairman, Prasanna Technologies, Chikkananjappa – Managing Director of MESCOM , Ganesh M.B – Deputy General Manager, Corporation Bank, Mangalore , Subodh Shetty,- Managing Director, PTPL, Satyapal Hegde, Mithil V.P, Mr.Subhash Kini and Anjali Shetty – Directors PTPL.

The programme began with the seeking of blessings from Almighty, led by Rachana and team. Rajesh Kotian, Delivery manager,PTPL introduced the guests and gave a warm floral welcome to all the invitees, which was followed by the traditional ceremony of lamp lighting.

Dr.Sathyapal Hegde, Director Projects, presented the annual report on the various projects handled in the organization, Mithil V. P, Director Engineer, briefed on implementation and development and Subhash Kini, Director operations, briefed on the tie ups with various popular companies like Tyco, L&T , Zera etc.

In his address to the gathering, PTPL Managing Director, Subodh Shetty expressed his deep gratitude to the employees and clients for their dedication, trust and cooperation. He also presented his future visions, plans and milestone targets to be achieved in next couple of years. He presented the sketch of the newly purchased land, and declared that tentatively by 2018 new premise of PTPL will be ready to occupy.

On this occasion, the first volume of the e-Newsletter Decode was released by the Chief Guest Chikkananjappa. This is an open platform for all the Prasanna employees, to showcase their talents, express their opinions and views. It also captures the past achievements, future plans, technical aspects and current events at Prasanna.

Chikkananjappa, while addressing the gathering stated, “The software solutions offered by Prasanna Technologies made the workflows and processes simple and easy for MESCOM employees”. He added, “Technology plays important role in quick development.”

Guest of Honor, Ganesh M.B, Deputy General Manager, Corporation Bank, Mangalore, while addressing the gathering stated, “Corporation Bank is very proud and delighted to be a partner of Prasanna’s rapid growth in Past 12 years, and is been providing all possible financial support since its initial stages, promising to continue the support for the future ventures wishing all the best for vision of the company to be a Multi National Company in next 5 years.”

Vaman Kamath – auditor, Chethan Nayak – the Company Secretary, Ramakrishna – Technical Director, MESCOM, Thippeswamy – Chief manager, Corporation bank, Subbhaiah shetty, Industrialist and Former President – Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Prasanna Kumar – Ensmart consultants and other well wishers also graced the occasion besides other dignitaries.

The function marked the conclusion of celebrations by the company’s employees, which included singing, short movie making, nail painting, drawing, selfie competitions and various indoor activities. The names of the winners of various competitions  were revealed by Aparna and Chethan, and they were honoured by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.

The function was attended by the staff from Mangalore, Bangalore, Hubli and Mysore branches. Various dance performances and games added charm to the spectacular evening. The short movies nominated for the Short Movie making competition were displayed, and the Best Movie, Best Actor and Best Actress were honored. The grand celebration came to an end with Prasad Phatak proposing a formal vote of thanks and promising to be back with new zeal and achievements in the year 2016. Roopesh B R and Gayathri Shenoy were the Masters of Ceremony.
