Mangaluru: In a bid to bring awareness about clean city, youth from the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) of more than 25 parishes will be holding a bus stand cleaning and painting drive called “Rangu Rangina Tangudana” at various places in the district on December 6, 2015. The drive will be carried out under the guidance of ICYM director Fr Ronald D’Souza, and Diocesan President Alwyn.
“The intention of this initiative is to share the experience of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and invite other people to accept the challenge to join hands in the Abhiyan. It has become a ‘Jan Andolan’ receiving tremendous support from the people. Citizens too have turned out in large numbers and pledged for a neat and cleaner India”, said an official press release.
