‘Crafts of India’, a two-day exhibition on July 22 at Roshni Nilaya

Mangaluru: Inchara Foundation in association with Sociology-Economics Forum, School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya, Mangalore, Gudi Organisation (Shivamoga) is organising ‘Crafts of India’, a two-day exhibition of arts and crafts of India on July 22 and 23 at Roshni Nilaya.
The objective of this event is to encourage rural artisans and educate people about dying arts and crafts of India. The event is expected to be witnessed by students from various colleges and public from in and around Mangaluru.

The event will consists of Exhibition of crafts & handloom, models prepared by students, live demo sessions of jewellery making & embroidery, live performances by folk artists and students and sale of crafts in support of artisans.

Inchara Foundation is a Non-profit organisation operating since 2007 in Dakshina Kannada. They run various projects for children, women and rural communities. Project Angel, an initiative for prevention of child sexual abuse is one of their widely recognized projects.
