Miss Diva announced the launch of its 9th edition in association with LIVA, a fashion ingredient brand as Title Sponsor. Everything around us has changed our definition of normal, but LIVA Miss Diva 2021, co-powered by MX TakaTak, will share the same levels of enthusiasm and excitement to find the next beauty queen in a dynamic new format, that will leverage on digital media. India has won the prestigious title of Miss Universe more than once. With the recent win of Adline Castelino who won the coveted title of LIVA Miss Diva 2020, she added India back on the global map of Miss Universe 2020 as the 3rd Runner Up.

Through the journey that began in the year 2013, Miss Diva continues to unmask the talented young Indian women through its coveted pageant. The crown is not just the most valued glory for young ladies, but also a platform that leads these women to manifest themselves into true icons of the future and realise their dream of representing India before the world. We hereby pledge our support to the next generation of feminine charisma to lead us in the most distinguished fields. Continuing the legacy of 8 years, the coveted title will continue to groom, encourage and empower young talent to recognise them on international platforms and reflect the ever-growing tribe of potential that exceeds expectations across international borders.

 Hence even when the Universe is adapting to a ‘new normal’, this year too the show must go on. Miss Diva in its 9th edition, brings you the opportunity to apply for the auditions from the comfort of your home. Powered by a dynamic new format, LIVA Miss Diva 2021 will continue its tradition to find that one girl who will revolutionise the definition of beautiful, confident, dynamic, vivacious with an aim to extend whole-hearted support to the new generation women who have the potential to lead and represent the country in the future.  

Commenced on June 11, the pageant announced a nationwide hunt to select representatives from across the country where aspirant divas can participate to transform their dreams to reality.

The selection process of these finalists entails an online registration process inviting specific audition task submissions on India’s leading short video platform – MX TakaTak 

Thereafter, the shortlisted 20 finalists will undergo rigorous training and grooming in Mumbai to compete for the coveted crown at the Grand Finale in the month of October 2021.

Inclusiveness: Trans-women also to get opportunity

Talking of being inclusive, for the first time in the history of beauty pageants fraternity, we encourage and call on Transwomen to participate to redefine beauty. And this time, the height criteria has been eased to 5’4” for all the beautiful women out there.

The winner of LIVA Miss Diva 2021 will represent India at the esteemed global platform Miss Universe 2021 and LIVA Miss Diva Supranational 2021 will represent the country at the Miss Supranational 2021. It’s time to make India proud again.

Miss Universe 2020 – 3rd Runner – up – Adline Castelino, also shared her emotions about the pageant that proved life-changing for her, “My crowning moment was extremely emotional, and I feel overwhelmed at the thought of passing it on to the next Miss Diva Universe. However, I’m also excited about witnessing the entire course of choosing the face of the country, this time from a different outlook and I wish all the luck to the girls aspiring to be LIVA Miss Diva 2021. I’d only like them to know that it’s going to be a worthwhile phase regardless of victory or defeat.”

The participation criteria for any applicant includes:

  • Height: 5’4″ & above
  • Age: Between 18 – 27 years (27 till 31st December 2021)
  • Marital Status: Single, Unmarried and Not Engaged
  • Indian Passport Holder
  • OCI Card Holders & NRIs allowed to compete for the runner-up position
  • Transwomen allowed to participate
