New Delhi: The Kapil Sharma Show recently had a ‘Mahabarath’ cast reunion episode. While most of the actors who played important roles in the mythological serial were on the show, Mukesh Khanna, who played the role of Bhishma was missing.
However, now Khanna has revealed the reason behind him opting not to appear in the show.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Mukesh Khanna wrote in Hindi that after the episode was aired, the question, “why Bhishma Pitamah wasn’t a part of the ‘Mahabharat’ episode?” has gone viral.
He said that many feel he was not invited and many others feel he had decided not to appear on the show. “It is true that ‘Mahabharata’ is incomplete without Bhishma Pitamah. It is true that there is no question of not inviting. And, it is also true that I rejected the invitation,” he said.
The 62-year-old actor then said that he thinks it’s the ‘worst show, ful of vulgarity and double-meaning content’
Nitish Bharadwaj, Puneet Issar, Pradeep Kumar, Gajendra Chauhan, Gufi Paintal and Arjun Firoz Khan had appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma show’.
