Dharwad: When many engaged couples are being forced to postpone their wedding plans due to the ongoing lockdown, a couple from Karnataka not only went through with their plans but also did it in the most non-controversial way possible.

Imran, who hails from Dharwad, and Tazma Begun, a resident of the Gangavati taluk in the Koppal district, were in a dilemma as inter-district travel has been banned in accordance with the lockdown guidelines.

The couple had already postponed their wedding once due to the lockdown when the rescheduled the wedding from April 19 to April 21. However, they decided to get married sooner in the most unique and endearing way.

With the permission of their families, the two connected online via video call on their respective laptops and with their priest reciting the ceremonial prayers and conducting the rituals, they were married.

Both the bride and her groom were dressed in their wedding attire for their special day. Tazma also signed the formal documents to legalise her marriage to Imran.

At a time when many couples, the most recent one being Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Revati, are being called out for flouting the lockdown rules and getting married at venues filled with people, Imran and Tazma serve as an example that you can everything you want while also obeying the rules and regulations.
