Dharwad: A woman has filed for a divorce after her husband uploaded her picture on Facebook without her permission.
The couple hailing from Shivamogga, reportedly got married against the wish of their family members, just a month ago.
The husband who works in a private firm in Hubballi, has approached a family welfare centre to convince his wife not to file for a divorce. However, his wife is adamant on her decision. Upset over her husband posting her picture on Facebook, the wife went ahead with the divorce application.
Even the couple’s family members have refused to intervene.
