Dharwad: Members of Karnataka State Women’s University College Teachers Association have written to the higher education minister seeking their monthly payment in time.
The president of the Association Lingaraj Angadi who has sent the letter to the government said the monthly payment of teachers coming under Dharwad division was not being made correctly. Despite the several pleas given to the Joint-Director of Collegiate Education, their demands have gone unheard.
Owing to the official apathy the staff are yet to receive their monthly salary for January 2017 even after two months. The teachers and other staff members were facing several personal problems due to the untimely payment of their dues, hence the government must make arrangements to provide payment within 5th of every month, he demanded.
