Dharwad: The 2016 murder case of BJP leader Yogesh Gowda was formally handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday, September 25.
It can be recalled that Gowda had been murdered over alleged political differences near Saptapur, Dharwad in June 2016.
The Yediyurappa-led state government asked the CBI to take over the investigation after Gowda’s kin accused former minister and Congress leader Vinay Kulkarni of being involved in the murder.
