Dharwad: The issue of war of words between District In-charge Minister Vinay Kulkarni and MLA Aravind Bellad over claiming credit for road works recently at a programme in city, is not over yet.

The BJP members who had written to the government over alleged misbehaviour by Minister Kulkarni who had aparently insulted two of the BJP workers at the programme, now have demanded his expulsion from the council of ministers.

The members of district BJP led by MLA Aravind Bellad on July 3, held protest infront of DC office wherein the leaders condemned the alleged misbehaviour of the minister.

They alleged that in a recently held programme which was also attended by Central minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the minister insulted two of the BJP workers who are Dalit and backward caste leaders.

The minister carries a bad reputation of attacking Dalit families in the past in Navalgund taluk, besides he had attacked a doctor in KIMS too, they said.

Later in a letter sent to the Governor through the district administration, they demanded immediate expulsion of Vinay Kulkarni from the government besides initiating action against him.

Former MLA Seema Masuti, former mayor Shivu Hiremath among others took part in the protest.
