Dharwad: The members of BJP Youth Wing held protest in front of the deputy commissioner’s office in Dharwad, demanding the government to ban People’s Front of India (PFI) and Karnataka Forum for Development (KFD) who were allegedly responsible for creating communal tension in Mangaluru and for their alleged role in killing an RSS activist.
The protesters stated that they have been demanding the State Government to ban PFI and KFD from last four years, but so far, the government had not taken any steps in this regard.
The Siddaramaiah-led Congress government is a anti-Hindu party, and it is creating a fearsome atmosphere for the Hindus living in Mangaluru, they charged. As the government is not initiating any action against those creating trouble, and harassing the Hindus, the people are living under constant fear, they added.
The police have arrested a PFI and KFD member for his involvement in the RSS activist Sharat Madiwalar murder case. Though the government has all evidences against these two organisations, it has done nothing but remained a mute spectator, they said.
