Davangere: Daughter of a Karnataka MP, who was tested positive for COVID-19 has recovered completely.
Ashwini, daughter of Davangere MP GM Siddheshwara who represents Davangere constituency was tested positive for the infection in March this year upon her return from Guyana along with her family.
However, she was the only one from her family who was tested positive.
Speaking to media, Ashwini said that she was asymptomatic as she neither had fever nor cough or any other symptoms attached to the infection.
“Many Covid-19 patients will be asymptomatic. They should understand how many people will get infected because of them. No need to fear. In hospital, you’ll be alone. My support was my family and relatives who I could not meet during my stay at the hospital. They called me every day. Friends made me laugh and I was lively. I did yoga and pranayama. I read books in the hospital and watched movies,” she told Indiatoday.
