Davangere: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has shown the ‘loving husband’ in him as he picked a beautiful Mysore Silk saree costing all of Rs 1,09,000 lac for his wife Parvathi Siddaramaiah.
The CM did this gesture after inaugurating the KSIC Mysore Silk showroom in Davangere on Wednesday.
The onlookers were taken by surprise because the CM has remained to be one politician who has never made public appearance with family or made any such gestures in the past.
However, having liked the saree, the CM instantly asked the staff to pack the saree and then directed KSIC President Basavaraju to get the payment for the same done from Bengaluru as he was not carrying the amount at the moment.
