Mangaluru: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School celebrated the feast of St Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus in a grand manner. There were special assemblies for 7 days which highlighted the values of St Ignatius Loyola through short videos. On 31 July 2018, there was a celebration of the Holy Eucharist followed by a spectacular cultural programme by the students of seventh standard.
The programme was graced by the chief guest N G Mohan. Variety of compitetions were conducted for students and the winners were felicitated during the programme. The correspondent Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, Headmistress Philomena Lewis and Vice President of the PTA Rekha Fernandes were present.
Immanuel welcomed the gathering and Elvis Lobo thanked everyone responsible for the successful event. Rishal Fernandes spoke on the significance of the day, Rishab Bekal and Sam Lobo compered the programme. It was indeed a great joy to see the parents in large number witnessing the performance of their children. The whole programme concluded with the sumptuous food for all the students.
