Mangaluru: Rachana, the Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry members, met at St. Sebastian Church, Community Hall Bendur, Mangaluru on Sunday March 14 at 7:00 p.m. After the covid pandemic, this was the first All Members meeting held. About hundred members along with family were present for this meeting.
Rachana President Elias Sanctis welcomed the Gathering. Meeting began with Invocation by family members children. President welcomed the day’s Guest Speaker CA SS Nayak and all the members and family who had gathered.
Guest Speaker CA SS Nayak was formally introduced by Vice President Mr. Vincent Cutinho. This was followed by an interesting and informative session by CA S.S. Nayak, explaining the Highlights of Union Budget 2021. There was also an interaction session to enable members to ask questions and clarify their doubts.
As a token of appreciation, Women present were felicitated with flowers to mark the “Women’s Day Celebrations”. The women present at the meet expressed their appreciation over this gesture.
Guest speaker CA SS Nayak was also felicitated by Rachana as a token of Gratitude.
The program was compeered by John Monteiro, Former President of Rachana. President Elias Sanctis, Secretary Nelson Monteiro, Treasurer Felix Pinto and Guest Speaker CA SS Nayak were present on the dais.
Secretary Nelson proposed the vote of thanks and the meeting ended with dinner for all those who were present.
