Mangaluru: Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fajir organised a candlelight prayer service with a protest march on Sunday, April 28 at 6:30 PM from the church’s premises to Gramachavadi main junction. This was done as a show of solidarity with the people who lost their lives in the inhumane terror attacks in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.
The candlelight prayer service was led by Rev. Fr Sunil Veigas – Parish Priest, along with 200 parishioners who prayed for peace and humanity around the globe.
The prayer service was initiated and organised by the members of the Catholic Sabha, Fajir Unit along with the youth of ICYM Fajir unit.
