Modankap parishioners organised farewell to Fr. Maxim Noronha

Modankap: The day was mellow but the air rich as an emotional farewell was organised on September 23, 2018 to honour and thank the dear Parish Priest Rev. Fr Maxim Norohna for their memorable stay at Bantwal Parish for past 5 years 4 months and who is now appointed as the Vicar General of the Mangalore Doicese.

The programme started with prayer. Main hosts Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Ashwin Crasta, Parish Priest of Thodambila Fr. Kiran Pinto, Vice President Sandeep Menezes, Secretary Richard D’Souza, Superior of Carmel Convent Sr. Supriya AC, Fr. J B Moras, various committee members, teachers and guests were present.

The ensemble choir group of Bantwal Parish created a perfect ambiance with a befitting musical tribute to Fr. Maxim. Fr. Ashwin Crasta spoke on Fr. Maxim’s stay at Bantwal parish and how he touched many lives he intended to mold and many significant moments that spoke highly about him and his well-intended works which always aimed at inspiring the parishioners.

The address of Fr. Maxim saw him go through an emotion, he thanked the parishioners for being with him through the thick and thin as his support and strength.

Various committee Presidents and Secretaries along with their member fraternity thanked him for his graciousness and wished him a blissful journey ahead with plentiful accomplishments and unparalleled success.
