Mangaluru: Recently, Paldane Football Club had organised an inter-parish football tournament at the Fernandes Compound Ground at Paldane, Mangaluru.
Parish Priest of St. Theresa Church, Paldane Fr. Vincent Victor Menezes inaugurated the tournament with a prayer. Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Roshan Lasrado and Director of Fourwinds E Fernandes were the guests for the inaugural ceremony.
Convener of the event Vinod Menezes, Paldane Church’s team captain Joswin Montheiro, referee John, Leena Fernandes and Lizzy Fernandes were present.
As many as 24 teams from 24 churches from around Mangaluru participated in the tournament.
