Mangaluru: Gurupura Sri Varadaraja Venkataramana Temple will be getting its brand new Bhandi chariot tomorrow, i.e, on Monday, May 13.
The unveiling of the chariot will be carried out in the presence of Shree Samyamindra Theertha Swamiji of Shree Kashi Mutt at 7.10 A M, which is believed to be an auspicious time according to Hindu calendar.
The chariot is presented to the temple, in the form of offering to Lord Varadaraj Venkataramana by Gurupura Aravind Rao and family from Mumbai on behalf of Gurupura Shenoy family, Latika Shenoy and Hariram Shenoy, Mangaluru in the memory of Gurupura Lakshmidevi Shenoy and Gurupura Damodar Shenoy and Gurupura Neena Shenoy and Gurupura Hariram Shenoy, Bengaluru.
The wooden work is done by Raj Gopal Acharya of Ambika Wood and Metal Works, Koteshwar.
