Mangaluru: Rev. Fr Michael D’Souza, the Parish Priest of St Lawrence Church Bola, celebrated the Holy Mass on the fifth day of the novena.
In his homily, Fr D’Souza preached on the importance of prayer in the family. Prayer in the family indicates that the family gives primary place to God in life, he said.
“When we give importance and first place to God, then the rest of the things of life fall in their respective places. God blesses all those who worship Him. One can find greater values in the family which gives first place to God,” he stated.
Fr D’Souza called on the congregation to nurture the habit of praying in the family. He said this will be a true preparation for the feast to be celebrated soon.
Fr Roshan D’Souza the Asst Director offered Holy Mass in the after-noon at the Ashram. Fr Onil D’Souza the Director of the Ashram conducted Rosary and Adoration. Fr Thrishan D’Souza another Asst Director of the Ashram conducted the novena at 7:30 pm at the entrance gate of the Ashram.
Fr Onil D’Souza the director of the Ashram thanked the ashram students for leading the liturgical singing. Thousands of people participated in the service.
