Mangaluru: The Catholic Sabha Episcopal City Deanery organized a Fund distribution programme for poor families under its house construction project on December 17, 2019, at the Bishops house, Mangaluru. The Guest of Honour on the occasion was the Most. Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop Mangaluru diocese.
Rev. Fr J.B. Crasta, Dean Episcopal City Deanery, Fr. Aquin Noronha, Spiritual Director, Mr. Patrick D'Souza, President, Mr. Noreen Pinto, Secretary, Mr. Anil Lobo convener, Mr. Steven Rodrigues, former President were also present.
Most.Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop Mangalore diocese in his presidential speech said that Catholic Sabha is doing great work which is important in today’s world. We have to be a channel of service, We receive blessings when we show humanity towards others.
Around 20 families of Episcopal City Deanery parish received help in form of cash which was distributed by the Bishop and other dignitaries.
This project was initiated by Mr. Anil Lobo, the former president and successive presidents joined in for this noble cause. Mr. Anil Lobo welcomed the gathering. Mr. Patrick Dsouza president proposed the vote of thanks.
