anjaneya1Chitradurga: Social Welfare Minister Anjaneya expressed his total willingness to sacrifice his ministerial post for the benefit of Madiga community fighting for internal reservations.

Addressing the media after holding talks with representatives from Madiga community on December 2, the minister said, “There is no second thought on the issue nor backing out citing helplessness to aid the Madiga community fighting for internal reservations.”

The Madiga community activists plan to take a footmarch from Kudalasangama to Bengaluru in their fight for internal reservations for the deprived community.

“If those fighting for internal reservations are going to benefit from my resignation, I’m ready to sacrifice my ministerial post immediately to satisfy the community”, Minister Anjaneya said emphatically.

The decision to quit the ministerial post by H Anjaneya at the fag end of current government’s tenure is a political gimmick to garner votes in the forthcoming elections scheduled for April-May 2018, opine critics.
