Chikkaballapur: Disqualified MLA Dr K Sudhakar has thanked every individual who supported him during his ‘tough’ times and has sought blessings from the people.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, November 13 he wrote, “I have spent about 123 days after tendering resignation. I have learnt who my actual well-wishers are and who are not. People who stood by me during my tough times, I thank them immensely. As the sun sets for the day, I’m waiting for a new beginning with a sunrise.”

It can be recalled that Dr Sudhakar had joined the group of 17 MLAs who had tendered their resignations to the then Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar, during the regime of Congress-Janata Dal (S) coalition government. The government had dissolved ultimately, unable to prove its majority. After the government had dissolved, Sudhakar had clarified that he was not indulged in any anti-party activities, but was only unhappy with the state coalition administration. He represented Chikkaballapur assembly segment and was a Congress leader.
