Chikkaballapur: As the disqualified rebel Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs continue to fight for the right to contest in elections, one of the lot has lashed out at Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh Gundu Rao for mocking them.
It can be recalled that Rao had spoken to the media about the disqualified MLAs on Tuesday, calling them “beggars”. He had said, “Everybody is familiar with their back stabbing and what had happened to them. Those who betrayed the party will not be invited again.”
Hitting back at Dinesh Gundu Rao, disqualified Congress MLA Dr K Sudhakar tweeted, “Dear Dinesh Gundu Rao, kindly mind your language. We are not beggars. Because of your selfish deeds and decisions, we had to beg in front of a small party (JDS). We had won only 80 assembly seats.”
