Chamarajanagar : Three people, including two women travelling on a bike were killed while trying to overtake a KSRTC bus in Yelandur village limits last night.
Satish, Bindu and Rajamma are the deceased.
While the biker, Satish died on the spot, the women succumbed to their injuries while being taken to a hospital in Mysuru.
As per reports the accident occurred when Satish, who was riding at a great speed attempted to overtake a Karnataka state transport bus.
Yelandur police rushed to the spot and registered case.
The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the government hospital mortuary and will be handed over to the relatives after conducting autopsies.
