Gundlupet : Tourists visiting Bandipur national forest are overjoyed these days as they are able to sight tigers during safari.

With the onset of summer and the prevailing dry weather in the state, most of the water resources are drying up quickly. The wild animals including the tigers have thus been making daily trips to the nearby water holes to quench their thirst, inviting animal lovers to enjoy their company.

Ace wildlife photographer Manjunath Hegde recently captured a photo of two large tiger cubs accompanied by their mother during such a trip.

Tourists visiting Bandipur reserve are ecstatic after sighting tigers in the region and more people have been drawn to the reserve to catch a glimpse of the wild cats. Normally citing a tiger during a safari is not easy but the prevailing dry conditions have provided all nature lovers an unique opportunity to get closer to large wild cats.

‘’Leave us alone, without us around even your lives will be difficult” – is the message tigers seem to be conveying to all those who sight them!
