Chamarajanagar: If one has the money power, then nothing is impossible. One such incident reported from Chamarajanagar is just proving this statement right.

Having been put behind bars on serious charges of poisoning the Saluru Temple Prasadam that claimed several lives, the junior seer of the Saluru Math has managed to get the papers of the Math property registered in his name. All of this has been done while Mahadeva Swamy, the said seer is still inside the jail.

rime accused in Sulvadi tragedy that claimed 17 lives and left scores of devotees ill, Mahadeva Swamy managed to transfer the Math property into his name leaves behind several questions.

It is said that the accused is making all efforts to secure bail and has laid his hands on the Math property to pool money for the same.

The said property can earn his crores of rupees. It is also said that it is impossible for the seer to execute this plan all alone without the help of the revenue officials. Hence it is suspected that several government officials too may have been hand in gloves with the tainted seer.

The said 2.44-acre land was purchased in the name of the math (Malemadeshwara Kripa Vidya Samsthan) in 1997. However, it has been now learnt that the said property in Linganapura of Kollegal Kasaba Hobli has been transferred to the seer’s name on May 3, 2019, after he applied for the transfer of rights on February 20, 2018.

What has left eyebrows raised is that the officials who did not move the papers for about one year after receiving the application have suddenly got the matter cleared within a month!
