Chamarajanagar: A person has been nabbed for setting ablaze the main Ratha (car) of Sri Chamarajeshwara temple here.
The arrested is Mohan Kumar (35) from Uppar Extension of Chamarajanagar.
The main Ratha of the temple was set ablaze on February 19 and when the news spread tension gripped Chamarajanagar. When the Hindu outfits called for a bundh, district in-charge minister U T Khader ordered for probe and as per directions of SP Kuldeep Kumar Jain, the police zeroed in on Mohan Kumar.
However, the reason behind such an act and the other hands that supported him are yet to be revealed.
