Buditittu: Forest officials have nabbed a person for allegedly killing a deer on Wednesday, December 4.
Ravi, a resident of the Navilur village is the person who has been arrested.
According to official sources, after receiving credible information that Ravi hunted a deer and cooked its meat, a team of forest officials under the guidance of Conservator of Forests (CAF) Narayana Swamy and Prasanna Kumar and Forest Reserve officer Hanumantharaju, raided his residence.
At this point in time, Ravi, who had already half cooked the meat, tried to escape but could not manage to do so.
Deputy Range Forest officer Ratnakar, staff Manju, Diwakar, Shankarappa and Arun Kumar assisted in the raid.
