Farmer dies due to heat stroke

Chamarajanagara: A 58-year-old farmer died allegedly due to heat stroke at Chamarajanagara district on Saturday, April 30.

The heat stroke victim was identified as Ramashetty, a resident from Thaggaluru.

It was reported that the victim was working at his field without bothering about the burning sun. He fell down and died due to heatstroke.

His relatives, on receiving the information, rushed to the field and took him to a hospital. The doctors declared him bought dead.

He is survived by his wife, a son and three daughters. His death has left the family distressed.

A complaint stands registered at the Beguru police station.
